About Valletta

Valletta is the southernmost capital of one of Europe’s best-known archipelagos, Malta. The Baroque Festival in Malta has been running in the city for over eight years and is one of the most prestigious events. When travelling from Malta Airport to Valletta, you have three different transfer options; taxi, private transfer or bus. A local taxi or private transfer is the most convenient option as the journey takes just 15 minutes and the service is door-to-door. A cheaper alternative is to take the bus. The X4 bus operates direct routes from the airport to the city center of Valletta. Tickets cost just €2 but the journey takes slightly longer than a taxi.
